Indepedence Day:

Peru had once been one of the greatest Incan Empires. Later on, they were conquered by Spain, and then were ruled by Spain. They were conquered in the years 1531-1533. Finally, in July of 1821 Peru had declared their independence. Though they declared on this date, they hadn’t fully defeated Spain until 1824. They had fought with Spain for several years, and had also had various wars with Chile. (Country Reports) Every Independence Day every citizen comes together to reconize those who had helped fight for victory. They gather around to remember the important day in which they gained their independence. (Independence Day)
